Invitation - Tour of Duty Gala - Celebrating 100 Years of Flight

Everyone is invited to join us for an elegant and brilliant night of centennial of flight celebrations; the premier gala of the fall season! In this year of the centennial of the first flight in the country, the Canada Aviation Museum is happy to host the fourth annual Tour of Duty Gala in conjunction with the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation.
Event Program
6:00 p.m. Cocktails and Museum tour
7:00 p.m. Dinner, special guests, live/silent auction and dancing
Dance among one of the world’s finest aviation collections
Elegant dinner by Thyme and Again Creative Catering
Exceptional live and silent auction items, many with an aviation theme – Celebrity Auctioneer Lawrence Greenspon
Co-master of ceremonies for the evening will be Kevin Newman, Global TV National News anchor and Jeff Douglas of History Television’s Ancestors in the Attic who will interview celebrity guests of discover their “ancestors in the hangar.”
Gala proceeds will enable disadvantaged children to experience the wonders of aviation, and provide better access to the Museum for persons with disabilities. At the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre, funds will be put towards a Music Therapy Program that is so vital to the well-being of residents including many Canadian military veterans.
